Desert Provision in Mark 6:35-36

Mark 6:35-36 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 6 in context

Scripture Focus

35And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
36Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
Mark 6:35-36

Biblical Context

In Mark 6:35-36, the disciples report a desert place and late hours, asking Jesus to send the crowd away to find bread.

Neville's Inner Vision

I invite you to hear the scene as a state of consciousness, not a geography. The desert and the late hour are inner conditions, a belief in scarcity that asks for outward relief. The disciples' plea to send the crowd away indicates a habit of seeking bread where there is none, a projection of lack onto the world. But the Master speaks another language: Providence is not a distant market but the quiet awareness that you are already fed by the I AM within. When you stop scanning external circumstances for supply and begin to feel the reality of your own inner source, the need is met without strain. The miracle unfolds as you revise your sense of lack into abundance, not by begging but by inhabiting the truth that you are nourished by God's presence now. Mercy and faith merge: trust that the good you seek is already present in you, and let the feeling of fullness displace every thought of want. Presence of God becomes your daily bread, here and now.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat, 'The supply is here now.' Feel a sense of fullness spreading through you; rest in the inner feed and allow abundance to multiply.
