36As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
Mark 5:35-36

Biblical Context

In Mark 5:35-36, messengers announce the ruler's daughter is dead, and Jesus tells him not to fear but to believe.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the scene as a movement within consciousness, not a distant event. The ruler of the synagogue is a state of fear-born reasoning, a mind clinging to appearances as if they were reality. The report thy daughter is dead is the dream of finality that death has the last word. When Jesus hears the word, he does not argue with it; he issues a command to the inner watcher: Be not afraid, only believe. This is a call to align with the I AM, the unchanging awareness that creates. Fear is the old habit of the ego, a projection of separation that says, external conditions govern me. Belief, in this sense, is the deliberate assuming of the presence of your fulfilled desire. By refusing fear and dwelling in conviction, you shift the vibrational state of your inner atmosphere, and you are no longer defined by the decay of appearances but by the life already present in you. The daughter you seek to revive is your own life, made alive by faith that knows the unseen is real now. The healing power lies within your I AM, awaiting your quiet command.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, dismiss the outer report, and imagine the fulfilled state as present; feel the I AM within you declaring it done.
