Read Mark 5 in context

Scripture Focus

22And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
23And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
Mark 5:22-24

Biblical Context

Jairus, a synagogue leader, pleads with Jesus for his dying daughter; Jesus agrees and goes with him, while a crowd presses in around them.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jairus appears as the image of outer authority in your mind—the ruler of the synagogue—and his deep petition is your own cry to the I AM for restoration. When he falls at Jesus' feet, the message is clear: the conscious self bows to the truth it desires. Jesus agreeing to go with him represents the moment you align your inner state with the wish. The thronging crowd is the surrounding thoughts that rush and distract, but the essential movement is the inward decision to step into the healed state regardless of appearances. The healing does not wait for a miracle out there; it occurs as you move your attention into the feeling that your desire is already accomplished, as if the daughter’s life were already restored. The laying on of hands is the tactile symbol of your mind reaching toward the body; your I AM touches the imagined form and commingles it with the truth you accept. Trust in the inner act; let the imagination declare the end, and the outer events will follow.

Practice This Now

Assume the state you desire as already true. Hold the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and let imagination carry you to the scene of restoration.
