Mark 5:16

Biblical Context

Witnesses recount the healing of the man possessed and the fate of the swine. The passage highlights a visible shift in state that those nearby acknowledge.

Neville's Inner Vision

Mark 5:16 speaks of witnesses and explanation, but in the inner key, the man’s torment is a state of consciousness, the demon a belief in separation, and the swine a herd of worn-out thoughts and social images that must vanish to yield a new life. When the inner I AM speaks through a healed imagination, the 'possession' dissolves not by force but by recognition: you are not the fear you tremble in but the awareness that stands behind it. The witnesses who tell what befell him are the parts of you that bear witness to your new state; the swine falling into the sea symbolize the old self-image relinquished to the vast sea of your consciousness so that the fresh life can enter. The miracle then becomes a practical law: your present inner state creates the outer arrangement and tells your life what it accepts as real. When you assume the end and feel it as real, the outer events reflect your inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the healed I AM now,' and dwell in that sensation. Then revise any anxious thought to align with wholeness and observe how your outer world begins to harmonize with the new inner state.
