Candle On The Inner Candlestick
Mark 4:21-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Light is meant to shine and nothing hidden will stay concealed. Your inner hearing and the measure you apply determine what truth becomes in your life.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this passage the candle is your own awareness. The bushel or bed you fear is the mind's resistance; yet nothing can remain hidden from the living I AM that animates you. When you hear the call to hear, you are not listening to external voices but setting the frequency of your inner state. The law spoken by Jesus is the law of consciousness: the measure you mete to messages is the measure by which reality returns to you. If you cherish the inner light and treat it as constant, you invite more light; if you withhold or doubt, you dim the lamp and lose what you think you lack. Therefore attend to the inner listening and revise your state with the feeling of the wish fulfilled. The terms hath and hath not refer to your possession of awareness, not outer fortune; provide your inner lamp with a steady candlestick, and your world will reflect the brightness you allow. Practice is the bridge between revelation and manifestation: what you assume in imagination becomes outward sight.
Practice This Now
Tonight, sit quietly and imagine a lamp shining from your chest, set on a candlestick of awareness; silently declare, I AM the light, nothing hidden remains hidden to me, and then revise one small situation by feeling the wish fulfilled.
