Seed of the Word Within

Mark 4:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus

14The sower soweth the word.
Mark 4:14

Biblical Context

Mark 4:14 states that the sower sows the word; the word is planted in consciousness and the soil of your state decides what grows.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the parable reveals that I am the sower of the Word within. The word is a living seed formed by the image I entertain in my consciousness. When I dwell in an imagined state of being I desire, I plant that seed in the soil of my current awareness. The soil is my habitual thought, fear, and memory; by keeping my attention on the desired state and feeling it as already mine, I water the seed with faith. Soon the inner movement aligns with the seed and the outer world reflects the harvest of my inner vision — opportunities, people, and events that confirm what I have imagined. The miracle is not in external proof but in the conviction that the seed grows because the I AM is its source. Remind yourself that you are always sowing some word; choose the sacred word you wish to live, and tend it with steady attention until it becomes your realized life.

Practice This Now

Practice: select a desired outcome, assume it is already true for a minute, and feel it as real; repeat daily until your inner climate remains convinced.
