The Inner Sea of Healing

Mark 3:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 3 in context

Scripture Focus

7But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,
8And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
Mark 3:7-8

Biblical Context

Jesus withdraws with his disciples to the sea, while a great multitude from Galilee and beyond follows. The scene hints that healing flows when the mind withdraws inward and opens to inner presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

Mark 3:7-8 invites you to see the outward scene as a map of inner states. When Jesus withdraws with his disciples to the sea, the soul turns from outer noise to the deeper water of awareness. The multitude from Galilee, Judaea, Jerusalem, Idumaea, beyond Jordan, Tyre and Sidon represents the many currents of thought, feeling, and memory within your mind drawn to the healing presence you already ARE. Their gathering shows that healing is not something given by an external power but awakened by the I AM within. As you sustain the awareness that you are the I AM, those varied movements converge at your center, and the 'great things' you imagine become the pattern by which outer events rearrange themselves. The Kingdom of God is not a distant land but an inner state you enter by attention and faith. In this sense, the crowds heal themselves by aligning with your inner decree.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and breathe deeply; assume the I AM as your center, the healing presence you already ARE. Picture yourself at the sea with your inner disciples, and watch every fragment of your mind quietly gather into stillness around you.
