Binding the Strong Man Within
Mark 3:27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The verse teaches that one cannot invade a strong man's domain without first binding him; your inner life operates similarly: you must quiet and reorient the dominant state of consciousness before changing outer conditions.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, 'a strong man' is the steadfast state of consciousness you presently inhabit—the ego, habits, and settled beliefs that guard your reality. Entering his house and spoiling his goods means overturning that ruling state from within, not by arguing with the world, but by changing the inner governor. When you bind the strong man, you temporarily suspend the old identity so the new you can operate unopposed. The goods are the conditions you think are real: your fears, your lack, your outcomes. By assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled and dwelling there until it feels native, you align your inner atmosphere with the state of success you desire, and the outer scene follows. The process is not force but identification: identify with the renewed state so completely that the old self cannot defend its house. Once bound, your imagined claim reconfigures the house, and what you spoil is the old order of limitation that kept you bound.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and picture binding the strong man within your mind; then enter the inner house and feel the wish fulfilled as already real.
