Inner Power Over Judgment
Mark 3:22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Scribes from Jerusalem accuse Jesus, claiming He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the prince of demons. The scene centers on external judgments about power.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice how the figure performing the healing is met not with evidence but with a verdict from the crowd within. The scribes symbolize the educated thoughts that arise from a mind’s center, the Jerusalem of your inner horizon, insisting power comes from external authorities. Beelzebub, the prince of demons, is not a rival power in the world but a belief in separation—an inner posture that says, “I am not the one who holds the governing truth.” When you hear that power belongs to some outside force, you are invited to look at the source of your reality. In Neville’s terms, the true casting out of devils occurs when you revise your state of consciousness: you align with the I AM, the single, unchanging awareness that is you. The apparent battleground dissolves as you claim unity and inner sovereignty. What seemed to be an external confrontation is, in fact, a mirror prompting you to awaken to your own power.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the I AM as your sole power. Silently revise any accusing thought by declaring, 'There is only God in me; I am that power,' and feel the unity saturate your inner world.
