Take the verse as a map of your inner state: 'power' is the I AM awakening within you. Sickness is a belief the mind has entertained about itself; devils are the fears, judgments, and false identities that parade as your body and world. When you align with the I AM—whose nature is health and freedom—you are no longer governed by symptoms or every doubt. The moment you assume you already are well, you begin to act from a new disposition; the authority to heal arises from inner certainty, not from any outside rite. Casting out devils becomes the purification of your mental atmosphere: you refuse the reality of fear and limitation and replace it with the reality of grace. Remember that imagination creates reality: by dwelling in the healed state, you invite it to take form in your experience. In this way, the inner conquest precedes the outer change, and what you believe becomes your world.
