6And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Mark 16:5-6

Biblical Context

Two women visit Jesus' tomb, encounter a radiant messenger who proclaims Jesus is risen and not here, signaling that the old story has ended and a new life begins within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Picture the scene as a moment within your own consciousness: the tomb is the old story you have been holding as real about yourself. The women are your scattered states of fear and longing, and the young man in white is the clear radiance of awareness entering the picture. He speaks: Be not affrighted; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified one, and he is risen; he is not here. This is not a future event but a revision of your sense of self. Jesus risen is your inner life, the I AM at the center, returning to the throne of your attention. The line behold the place where they laid him invites you to turn inward and notice the void where old beliefs lay buried. Consciousness has awakened from the dream of loss; the tomb is emptied by the power of awareness. Your task is to accept this as fact in feeling: imagine you are already risen, living by the I AM, and let the fear dissolve into quiet certainty.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of I AM here now. Revise your self-image to one that is already risen, and let the old tomb fade as you dwell in bright, present awareness.
