Go Within, Preach Without

Mark 16:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 16 in context

Scripture Focus

15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mark 16:15-16

Biblical Context

Jesus commands to preach to all creation; belief and baptism secure salvation, while disbelief incurs condemnation.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this reading, 'go ye into all the world' is not geographic travel but a movement within your own consciousness. The world to be blessed is the entire interior landscape—every creature within your mind—the critic, the longing, the fear, the quiet trust. The gospel to every creature becomes the inner message you continually teach yourself: you are the truth you proclaim. 'He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved' reveals two inner acts: belief as a steadfast assumption that is true now, and baptism as immersion in the I AM, washing away old self-concepts. If you doubt, you taste the impersonal damning of separation—the consequence of unbelief. Yet salvation is not a distant reward but the present alignment of mind with the truth of oneness with God. By living from the I AM, you command experience into harmony, for your outer world reflects your inner conviction. The call to preach is a call to practice this inner gospel until it becomes your habitual being.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state 'I am saved' and 'I am the gospel I preach'; feel it real until the outer world echoes your inner conviction.
