Inner Commission Awakening

Mark 16:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 16 in context

Scripture Focus

14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:14-15

Biblical Context

Jesus appears to the eleven, rebukes their unbelief, then commands them to go into all the world and preach to every creature.

Neville's Inner Vision

The passage is not a mere historical scene but a mirror of your inner life. The risen Jesus is the I AM within you, the awareness that witnesses your self. When you entertain unbelief, you resist your true nature. The command, Go ye into all the world, is an invitation to broaden your inner field of awareness beyond a narrow self-image, to preach the gospel to every creature by living from the kingdom within. The world you are sent into is the theater of your thoughts; every creature is a facet of yourself waiting to be claimed as loved and redeemed. The remedy for unbelief is alignment with the realization that you carry the power to illuminate any scene through your inner voice and deeds. Thus resurrection occurs as a present shift of attention from lack to the right relation with God within, not as a distant event. When you assume the state of the speaker in this scene – that you are the one who can awaken others by your life – you dissolve hardness of heart and become the gospel in motion.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and imagine the risen I AM addressing you as if you were the disciples; hear yourself speaking the gospel to every creature in your life. Then feel the confidence that this word is already true in you, and carry that certainty into your next moment.
