Mark 16:1-3

Biblical Context

Three women go to Jesus’ tomb to anoint him, after the Sabbath. In the dawn light they worry who will roll away the stone that blocks the entrance.

Neville's Inner Vision

Place the scene in your own consciousness: the sabbath is the pause of your old self, and the trio of Marys represents memory, desire, and fear bringing their spices of devotion. The stone before the tomb is not merely a rock but a stubborn belief that you are cut off from life. The dawn of the first day of the week symbolizes a new rise of awareness—the moment your I AM, your true consciousness, asserts itself. As you hold this image, you are not begging the tomb to yield; you are recalling that you have never truly left the tomb, for the tomb is a state of mind and you are the one who can revise it from within. The spices are the fragrances of intention you apply to your life; the question 'Who shall roll us away' becomes a recognition that the power to move the stone lies with the I AM that you are. When you dwell in this end-state—already risen, already free—you will notice outer circumstances shifting to match the inner dawn.

Practice This Now

In your morning routine, close your eyes, imagine walking to your inner tomb, see the stone roll away, feel the sunlight flood your chest, and declare softly 'I AM risen now.' Then rest in that sensation for a moment, letting the belief revise itself.
