Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James, and Salome visit the tomb, find it empty, are told Jesus is risen, and are sent to tell the disciples; some disbelief persists, and Jesus commissions the believers to spread the gospel with signs following.
Neville's Inner Vision
Remember, the tomb in Mark is a state of consciousness you inhabit with habitual fear until you awaken. The stone rolled away symbolizes your releasing of fixed belief; the empty chamber reveals the truth that you are risen now, not awaiting some distant event. The young man in white is the inward truth—the I AM—speaking, Be not afraid; you seek Jesus, and He is already within your awareness, simply not where you formerly looked. The instruction to go tell the disciples and Peter is your directive to move from speculation to living testimony, to let the awakened self broadcast itself through your daily thoughts, words, and deeds. Their initial unbelief mirrors your past refusals to claim the risen state; yet the command persists: go into all the world and preach to every creature. When you believe and align with this inner reality, you become the harbor for power: you cast out limiting fears, you speak with new tongues, you lay hands on the sick in your own field of experience, and you recover. The Lord works with you, confirming your inner state as your outer life.
Practice This Now
Practice: Close your eyes and imagine you are already the risen self, walking without fear. Then revise one current situation by affirming, 'I AM risen; this is dissolved into life,' and carry that conviction into one concrete action today.
