Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus warns that followers will face persecution and will be brought before authorities, but the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your scripture is not about places or bodies but about a state of consciousness. When you hear, 'they shall deliver you up to councils,' recognize the inner voices of doubt and old identities testing the birth of a higher idea. The 'synagogues' and 'rulers' are the mind's former authorities that try to keep you confined to the known. The phrase 'for my sake, for a testimony against them' points to your new awareness bearing witness to the end of separation, not as punishment but as alignment with the I AM. And 'the gospel must first be published among all nations' speaks of awakening every state of desire—every corner of your psyche—to the reality of the imperishable good within. As you dwell in the I AM, you do not resist the change but feel it as inevitable; you assume the end of the story now and let the conditions conform to your inner truth. Persecution then becomes a refining fire that disproves lack, scarcity, and fear, revealing your consciousness as the sovereign source of creation.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Assume the state 'I am free now' and feel the truth of the gospel spreading through every chamber of your mind. See the inner testimony proclaimed to all nations within, and rest in that realized state.
