Vigilance becomes a practice of constant inner custody: you notice without clinging, you revise by returning to the awareness you are, and you pray by dwelling in the presence that already knows. Therefore the promise of guidance and providence is the assurance that your inner state can be continually renewed, and your life flows from your most intimate assumption.
