Inner Dawn in Mark 13:24-25

Mark 13:24-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 13 in context

Scripture Focus

24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Mark 13:24-25

Biblical Context

Mark 13:24-25 speaks of tribulation and a coming cosmic disturbance—the sun darkened, the moon losing light, and the stars falling. Heavenly powers are shaken as inner capacities prepare for the advent of the Son of Man, the awakened I AM within.

Neville's Inner Vision

All outer disturbance is the language of an inward shift. The sun's darkness and the moon's dimming are not punishment but the old light undoing itself so a newer, truer light can reign in your awareness. The falling stars represent cherished beliefs and images you have mistaken for your power; the powers in heaven being shaken are the mind's habitual authorities dissolving. This is the birth of the inner kingdom, not a doom over you. Before the Son of Man can appear in your experience, the old self must yield its throne. When you understand that you are the I AM, you stop seeking from without and start imagining from within. The night is your signal that consciousness is reorienting toward the living present where all things are made anew by your awareness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the role of the observer and declare, 'I AM the light that shines through every darkness.' Then revise a recent fear or limitation by affirming that this light now brightens your inner sky, and feel it real as you breathe.
