Mark 13:21-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 13 in context

Scripture Focus

21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
Mark 13:21-23

Biblical Context

The passage warns against following counterfeit Christs and prophets; true guidance comes from the inner I AM rather than external signs.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the I AM, these words reveal that the world’s most beguiling signs are but projections of outer thoughts; the true Messiah is your inner Christ, the awareness that animates your life. When false Christs and prophets arise, they illuminate the need for inner certainty rather than external validation. “I have foretold you all things” points not to a schedule of events but to the power of your imagination to foretell your next scene by the state you inhabit now. If you chase outer phenomena, you yield to appearances; if you rest in the knowing that you are the alchemist of consciousness, you remain unmoved by spectacle. The elect are those who discern the movement of consciousness and trust the one I AM within. So watch your thoughts, cultivate the felt presence of truth, and allow your inner Christ to govern the narrative rather than sensational signs. Trust that your inner faculty, not the crowd, writes the decree of your life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of the I AM within you now; repeat 'I am the Christ within me' and hold the image until your outer scene reflects it.
