Cornerstone Reborn Within You

Mark 12:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 12 in context

Scripture Focus

10And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
11This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Mark 12:10-11

Biblical Context

The verse declares that the stone rejected by builders becomes the head of the corner, a divine act of Providence that astonishes the eye. It points to God's redemptive plan at work behind appearances.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, the Gospel does not describe stone and builders as distant history; it depicts states of consciousness. The 'stone' is your idea of yourself, your central I AM, and the 'builders' are the old habits and limited stories you have labored under. When these builder-states reject the new alignment, the result is the very thing you need—an inner cornerstone that anchors your life. The Lord's doing is the act of consciousness recognizing that the small, often overlooked impression you hold in mind is not a mistake but the precise arrangement of Providence within you. The re-framing transforms rejection into a victorious arrangement: the very thing you thought useless or denied becomes the center from which your life rises. See with inner sight that the corner is within, not outside of you, and your awareness is the stone that holds the edifice together.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: close your eyes and assume, right now, that you are the chief cornerstone of your life; feel the stability, command, and unity that comes with that status. Repeat silently, 'I am the cornerstone,' and notice any shifts in how you perceive current challenges as proofs of Providence.
