Morning Prayer, Moving Towns
Mark 1:35-39 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus rises early to pray in a solitary place, then moves to preach in new towns when the moment calls. The followers seek him, and he answers by extending his mission.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the morning, he withdraws into a solitary place and prays not as a ritual, but as a mental reorientation to the I AM that you are. The solitary place is not a location, but a cleared, receptive state of consciousness where every distraction yields to the awareness that you already hold the answer to your world. When the disciples report that all men seek for thee, they mirror the nagging impulses of the crowd within you, seeking a presence you know you are. His reply—to go into the next towns to preach— is the inner decision to step from inner conviction into outer demonstration. You too become the very claim you make: when you imagine being the one who preaches, heals, and liberates, your surroundings respond to the implied state. The devils he cast out are the habits and conditions no longer aligned with your desired kingdom. By returning to the one Self, you release them; you do not fight them. Your task is to dwell in the present I AM, and let outward movement follow from the certainty you already possess.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly and assume the state you desire as already formed. In your imagination, go to the next town of your life and speak the truth you wish to embody, sensing the I AM moving you there.
