Prosperity in the Inner Self

Malachi 3:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Malachi 3 in context

Scripture Focus

15And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
Malachi 3:15

Biblical Context

Outward prosperity seems to belong to the proud and those who work wickedness. The real wealth is an inner state of consciousness, not the changing conditions of the world.

Neville's Inner Vision

Take Malachi 3:15 as a note on the inner drama of belief. The 'proud' who call themselves happy are not blessed by God apart from you; they reflect a habitual certainty that life serves their ego. 'They that work wickedness are set up' are simply the ego in outward action—forces of pride, fear, and control showing up as circumstance. And 'yea, they that tempt God are delivered' becomes the moment you push beyond old pictures and lean into the I AM within. When you observe the world and conclude that justice rests with some outer pattern, you are only surveying your own mental weather. Your awareness creates scenes, and imagination is the tool by which you revise them. The deliverance promised is not a future rescue but a choice to abandon the old identity and awaken to the indivisible life that always is. In that inner alignment, the apparent triumphs of the wicked and the apparent misfortunes of the righteous are but signs pointing to your state of consciousness. Change the state, and the world rearranges itself to reflect your new assumption.

Practice This Now

Sit, breathe, and feel the I AM as your living principle of abundance; revise the scene by declaring 'I am prospering now' until the feeling is real.
