Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Malachi 3:1-18 describes a messenger who prepares the way, and the Lord who refines and judges, purifying the faithful. It calls for repentance, covenant loyalty, and a transformation so that offerings are offered in true righteousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold that the messenger is your inner state of awareness arising within. The refining fire is the directed heat of attention burning away fear, pride, and habit, revealing that you are the I AM, the consciousness that creates worlds. When the text says Return unto me, regard it as a shift of self back to your true identity, not a demand from without. Judgment and purification are inner alignment, not punishment, so you may stand in the light of your own righteousness. The book of remembrance is the inner record of thoughts chosen with reverence; by thinking upon His name you choose to live as the jewel refined by fire, a vessel fit for righteousness. You are promised that you shall be mine, a being made delightful by loyalty to the universal covenant of love. This is the moment of vindication in your mind, as you realize your life clears of discord and opens to abundance when you act from the I AM.
Practice This Now
Practice: sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume the state of I AM refining your mind now; feel it real as you declare I am purified and returning to my true covenant, inviting blessing.
