Covenant of Inner Worship

Malachi 2:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Malachi 2 in context

Scripture Focus

11Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
Malachi 2:11

Biblical Context

Judah profaned the LORD's holiness by marrying the daughter of a strange god, a breach of covenant and loyalty.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner states are the script of your world; Malachi speaks to the heart that has wandered from the I AM. Judah and Israel are not places but inner dispositions. When a person clings to a 'strange god,' they let an idol govern the sense of self and thus profane the holiness the I AM loves. The abomination is the mixing of allegiance, a belief that two lords can reside in one temple. Remember: imagination creates reality, and you are always choosing which image rules. To heal is to revise: refuse the rebel image and assume the presence of the One Power as your only reality. Feel the fidelity of the I AM; imagine yourself returning to the inner altar where true worship resides. In this act, external turmoil or proximity to what seems foreign will recede as you dwell in the consciousness of unity, and the world rearranges to reflect that inward covenant.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the state of the I AM as your only ruler, and revise every belief that an external 'strange god' can bless you. Feel the inner holiness restored and observe your outer world aligning to that truth.
