Read Malachi 1 in context

Scripture Focus

8And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
9And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
Malachi 1:8-9

Biblical Context

Malachi 1:8-9 rebukes offering defective sacrifices and questions whether such acts please the governor; genuine worship requires sincere devotion and inner alignment rather than outward ritual.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the I AM—your inner governor—tests every claim of devotion. To offer the blind, the lame, or the sick is to present States of consciousness that pretend to serve while refusing vision, healing, and growth. This is not God exacting punishment; it is your own misalignment showing in the act. The governor does not receive such gifts; sincerity and wholeness are required. Mercy flows when you align your inner image with the truth of who you are: the I AM aware, complete, and ready. So commit to revise your sense of self, not your rituals, and feel the governor recognizing your true offering. When you dwell in that vision, grace becomes natural, and the inner petition is answered by the very I AM that you are.

Practice This Now

Assume the state that you are offering your best to the I AM within. Feel the inner governor accept that offering with grace as your life aligns with true worship.
