Malachi 1:1-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares He loves Israel and contrasts it with Esau’s history; Edom will be judged and left desolate. In time, Israel will see the Lord magnified in its borders.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the burden is not a distant forecast but an inner word to your own consciousness. 'I have loved you' is the living I AM speaking to you in this moment, a present fact you can choose to wear as your awareness. Your question, 'Wherein hast thou loved us?' is the old habit of doubting the good when appearances look contrary. Jacob and Esau stand for two states of mind: Jacob, the inner beloved, fixed in trust; Esau, the outer impulse chasing fleeting appearances. The mountains and heritage of Esau are memories of lack, dragons in the wilderness of thought that threaten to claim your future. When Edom says we are impoverished, the spirit answers: you may try to rebuild the old self, but the divine order will override it, returning you to the truth that you are the border where the Lord is magnified. Thus the promise comes true in your life as you dwell in the inner covenant, and the external border of Israel becomes the visible proof of your awake awareness.
Practice This Now
Practice: Assume you are the beloved Jacob here and now. Feel the I AM saturating your thoughts with love until any sense of separation dissolves.
