Kingdom Within Luke 8:9-10

Luke 8:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 8 in context

Scripture Focus

9And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
10And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Luke 8:9-10

Biblical Context

Jesus tells the disciples that the mysteries of the Kingdom are given to those who ask. Those outside receive parables that keep them from understanding.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this verse the parable is not a mere riddle to be solved in time, but a notification of your inner state. The 'you' who asks for meaning is the I AM awakening; the crowd remains in a condition where signs are used to veil, not reveal. To know the mysteries of the Kingdom is to inhabit a consciousness that sees by inward sight and hears by the imagination you choose. When you accept that the Kingdom is not somewhere out there but within, the so-called parables lose their power to confuse, and what you perceive becomes a function of your inner direction. The moment you cease seeking truth in outer events and turn your attention to your own awareness, the hidden order appears as a natural consequence of your assumed state. Your inner state acts as law: belief becomes vision, vision becomes experience, and experience confirms your assumption that you are the knower of the mysteries.

Practice This Now

Assume you already know the mysteries; sit quietly, affirm 'I am the consciousness that knows the Kingdom within,' and envision the parable dissolving into a clear inner scene of knowing.
