30And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

31And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

When you meet Jesus, the I AM within you, a demand arises to name your condition and release the old self. Naming the legion gives you the power to dissolve it, for energy follows belief. The demons’ plea not to be sent into the deep mirrors your fear of losing the familiar self, yet the deep is the still, expansive space where true life resides. Jesus’ authority is not punishment but restoration; the energy previously scattered returns to your central consciousness, and you regain your right mind. This is a pattern, not a tale: your awareness can compel displaced fear to return to God within, restoring peace, presence, and wholeness to your experience.
