Biblical Context

In Luke 7:48-50, Jesus forgives a woman's sins, affirms that faith has saved her, and invites her to go in peace.

Neville's Inner Vision

Luke 7:48-50 is a demonstration of the inner law: forgiveness is not granted from without but awakened within the I AM that you truly are. When Jesus says, Thy sins are forgiven, He is declaring you are already spotless in awareness, because the state of consciousness called forgiveness has risen in you. The woman's faith is the inner trust that your imagined self and your real self are one; it saves you not by outward merit but by alignment with your divine nature. The astonished guests who murmur—'Who is this that forgiveth sins also?'—represent the old thought-world whose opinions you no longer inhabit. Your new self, however, speaks softly: go in peace. Salvation is a present shift of identification, a return to the peace that accompanies the realization, I AM, as your indwelling ruler. Live from that assumption: you are forgiven now; you rest in the certainty that your projects, relationships, and health reflect the harmony of your true state. Your faith becomes the bridge from belief to lived peace.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the feeling 'I am forgiven now' as if it were your present state; dwell there for a few minutes and watch the outer world reflect that peace.
