Biblical Context
John the Baptist is declared the greatest prophet born of women, but the least in the kingdom of God holds a greater inner authority.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner theater of consciousness, John the Baptist represents the external voice of preparation. The kingdom of God, however, is an immediate inner state—the I AM, your pure awareness, reigning within. Neville teaches that true greatness is not measured by outward rank or credential, but by the degree to which you inhabit and embody the inner kingdom. When you acknowledge and sustain the presence of the I AM, you surpass every external prophet, for you are living the reality that was foretold. The shift is not in time but in realization: the least in the kingdom is greater because that state of awareness is constant and intimate, whereas John’s role was a propulsive signpost. The distinction dissolves when you understand that imagination and inner conviction create reality; the inner kingdom is where God’s power operates here and now. By choosing to dwell in this inner presence, you participate in the very truth John foreshadowed.
Practice This Now
Practice: In a quiet moment, declare, 'I am the I AM, the kingdom within me.' Feel that inner state as real for 1–2 minutes, and gently let it revise your sense of self throughout the day.
