Inner Fruit, Outer Reality
Luke 6:43-45 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Luke 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage declares that outward fruit reveals inner states; good fruit comes from a good heart, and evil fruit from an evil heart, spoken by the abundance of the heart.
Neville's Inner Vision
Luke 6:43-45 invites us to see life as a mirror of the interior. There are no external trees bearing fruit apart from the condition of your own heart. If your heart is rich with the good treasure of love, faith, and integrity, the fruit appearing in your relations, work, and situations will be good. If the heart holds fear, scarcity, or judgment, the fruit will show accordingly. The mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart; therefore, changing what comes out into the world begins with changing what you store inside. You are the I AM, and your imagination is the living soil. By imagining the end you desire—feeling it as already mine—you plant new fruit into the unknown future. The law of consciousness is exact: belief becomes form through feeling, and feeling is thinking made alive. So return to the assumption that you are the kind of tree that already bears the fruit you seek. When you live from that inner fact, the outer scene rearranges to match it, quietly and powerfully.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine a day in which your conversations and actions naturally reflect the good you treasure. Then revise your inner treasure to be abundant, and feel wish fulfilled as if it is already true.
