The unclean spirits symbolize restless beliefs; as you keep the light of self-awareness steady, these beliefs dissolve and healing appears. The multitude pressing to touch him mirrors your own attention; to touch is to acknowledge and invite the divine touch into every part of you. In Neville's terms, you must assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled: see yourself already whole and let the inner current revise every symptom into peace.
