28And he left all, rose up, and followed him.
Luke 5:28

Biblical Context

Levi immediately abandons his former life, rises in response to Jesus' call, and follows him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Levi’s act is a turning point in consciousness: the call of the I AM prompts you to leave the identity you have clung to and to follow the vision that now appears. What he leaves behind is not only wealth but the sense of self tethered to it. The rising up is the moment of decision—an inner assent that says 'I am now this revelation.' To follow is to align every thought, feeling, and image with that truth; it is not obedience to a person but obedience to your own higher state. When you accept the inner call, you dissolve separation: provision arises as you dwell in the reality of your vocation inside. The scene invites you to practice faith as a living, imaginative act: assume the end, revise your sense of self, and feel yourself already walking the path laid out by the inner I AM. The outer world then shifts to reflect this inward alignment, because you are no longer acting from lack but from the presence that you truly are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the inner call as a door opening. See yourself leaving the old self behind and following the I AM into your true vocation, and feel the reality of that choice now.
