In Luke 4:4 the line is not a dietary instruction but a statement about the nourishment of consciousness. Life is sustained by every word of God—the inner utterance you actively assume and dwell in until it becomes your lived reality. The Word of God is the living I AM within you, not an external text but a creative authority you access by attention and feeling. When you treat the Word as present tense, you shift your state of being; the outer world then appears to reflect that inner decree. Hunger is not defeated by denial but by redefining appetite through a new sense of abundance, a new vocabulary by which you speak who you are. Practice: close the eyes, listen for the inner word, and repeat it as if it already is true, 'I am fed by the Word of God.' Feel the conviction in the chest, notice the subtle softening of fear, and let imagination entertain the scene that confirms your Word. God is the I AM behind every thought; the Word you inhabit rearranges life into its natural expression.
