Your Inner Witness

Luke 24:48 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 24 in context

Scripture Focus

48And ye are witnesses of these things.
Luke 24:48

Biblical Context

Jesus tells the disciples they are to be witnesses to all that has happened. This places their faith in action as living testimony.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of these words as a lullaby whispered to your own consciousness: you are the I AM that witnesses these things, and what you witness becomes your world by the law implicit in imagination. Luke does not bind you to historical figures; he liberates your present state. When you hear, and ye are witnesses of these things, receive it as a summons to calm, attentive awareness. The events described are the inner movements of your own life—where faith, trust, and obedience are not out there to be earned, but within you to be claimed. He teaches that you have already stood at the center of the scene, and the scene responds to your inner declaration. So practice: assume the role of the witness now. Feel the truth that you are observing your own turning inward, and that your inner witness is sufficient to ground a new reality. When you dwell in that posture, the outer world shifts to reflect the only thing that matters: your state of consciousness as the witness of these things.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, relax, and quietly declare that you are the witness of these things now, and feel the truth saturate your chest until it becomes your habitual state.
