Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The risen Jesus confirms his bodily presence by asking for food and eating before them. This act shows the tangible reality of the risen state despite their initial disbelief.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville's ear, Luke 24:41-43 is not a report about a history meal but a revelation of the inner appetite of consciousness. The disciples, caught between doubt and longing, embody states of awareness that hunger for the tangible proof of life. Jesus' question, Have ye here any meat? becomes a mirror for the soul: What nourishes your inner identity? When they present the meal, the act of feeding is not about fish and honey so much as the willingness of the I AM to consume and be consumed by the awareness that is always present. The risen Lord, eating before them, demonstrates that the body is the instrument by which consciousness knows itself; there is no separation between spirit and sensation when imagination is recognized as the creator. The miracle is not external proof, but the awakening that the I AM within is the source of all nourishment. Hence, resurrection is a state of mind becoming visible through daily life—your inner presence feeding your outer senses, until disbelief yields to a familiar certainty.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly, affirm I AM here, nourished by the I AM within. Visualize sharing a meal with your inner Christ and feel the nourishment flow through body and mind; carry that felt sense into daily life as a renewed certainty.
