Render Unto The Inner God
Luke 20:22-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus teaches that outward duties belong to the world, while the inner allegiance belongs to God. The Caesar-seen image on a coin mirrors the outer life, but the image of God is within you.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, Caesar and God are not rivals but two facets of your one life. Caesar represents the outward order that presses for time, money, and allegiance; God is the I AM within—the unchanging awareness that you are divine life expressing as you. When Jesus points to the penny, he asks you to examine the image you bear. The coin bears Caesar’s inscription; you bear the image of the I AM. Render to Caesar the things of the outer scene by attending to practical duties with wisdom and integrity; render unto God the things that belong to God by reviving and honoring the God-state within—your true identity. The moment you realize you are the I AM, the outer world begins to reflect that inner decree, and obedience becomes a living worship rather than a mere rule. Law and commandments answer not to punishment but to the inner law of consciousness that you are always God in expression.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the I AM is your reality, and revise any sense of lack by declaring 'I render to God the things that are God's' until you feel the peace of absolute sovereignty; then observe your outer life aligning.
