Biblical Context
In Luke 20:19, the chief priests and scribes seek to seize Jesus, driven by fear of the people. They sense the parable exposes their hypocrisy.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are the I AM watching the scene where the inner priests and scribes of your mind seek to arrest your truth. They fear the crowd—your own outward opinions and the habit of approval—that you would awaken to a higher standing in consciousness. The parable spoken is not about a distant event; it is your awareness telling you that every fixed belief will resist and attempt to suppress what is seen. When they perceive that the parable is against them, notice that the revelation has nothing to do with punishment and everything to do with your own alignment. The "laying hands" of the old self are nothing but efforts to keep you from stepping into the power of I AM. But as you realize that the crowd's fear is only a reflection of your past self-concepts, you become free to revise. Truth emerges not by condemning others but by shifting your inner state into full trust that you are the I AM. When you hold that awareness, the old judgments dissolve and your life begins to move with a fearless new light.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling of I AM as your constant presence; revise any fear of being seen by the crowd by affirming, 'I am free to reveal my truth.' Then imagine the inner crowd, once tense, suddenly applauding as your mind rests in that fearless I AM.
