40And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
Luke 19:40

Biblical Context

Jesus says that if these should hold their peace, the stones would cry out. The plain sense is that outer reality mirrors the inward truth and the presence of God within.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville’s ear, the stones are not cold matter but the stubborn forms of our own consciousness awaiting approval by awareness. When Jesus says the stones would cry out, he reveals that the inner worship of God—the I AM—cannot be silenced by human fear or crowding of opinion. If the people remain silent in their recognition, the inert world will nonetheless testify to the truth by rearranging itself into praise. The implication is not about stones at all, but about states of consciousness: the moment your inner state acknowledges God as your I AM, the outer life becomes a living hymn. The outer events, symbols, and voices are but the echo of your one, unchanging you. Therefore, the power is always present; the "wild" prophecy is the natural law of your mind: imagination creates reality; attention is creative. The presence of God is not elsewhere; it is the awareness you already are, and it will express itself through every circumstance when you stop negotiating with limitation.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling of the I AM now: repeat, I AM God in this moment. Feel the room respond as your inner worship enters outer life.
