To the awake ear, this scene is not about a literal colt, but about your inner state listening to the decree of I AM. The colt is your imagination, perfectly suited to bear the Christ within your awareness. The question of the owners—'Why loose ye the colt?'—is the ego's hesitation when your inner sense declares, 'The Lord hath need of him.' Yet the declaration itself is the key: a sovereign word from your deepest self commands use, not restraint. When you align with that inner command, you authorize the Lord to ride into the stage of your life. Notice how the disciples cast their garments on the colt and set Jesus thereon: that is your willingness to clothe your current modality with the truth of God-present awareness. The act demonstrates the presence of God in your world not as something apart, but as the active ruling I AM within you. The prophecy is fulfilled in the moment you assent inwardly; the outer events merely reflect your inner immanence. Practice this by feeding your imagination with the feeling of sovereignty and letting the inner Lord ride through your day in gentle presence.
