Inner Wealth in Jericho

Luke 19:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 19 in context

Scripture Focus

1And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
2And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
Luke 19:1-2

Biblical Context

Jesus enters Jericho, and a rich chief tax collector named Zacchaeus is present.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this moment Luke offers a map: Jericho is the mind’s fortress of opinion and habit, and Zacchaeus represents a wealthy state of consciousness clinging to outward signs. Jesus, the I AM within, moves through this inner city, not to condemn wealth but to awaken the awareness that sustains it. Wealth and status are not sins to be shed but symbols to be reinterpreted by the Self. When the interior self is seen—by the I AM as the undeniable presence—providence flows, and what is required for life’s needs is revealed from within rather than manufactured from without. The encounter invites you to shift your identification from the outward riches to the inner riches of being seen, guided, and held by God. This is not about renouncing wealth, but about realizing wealth as a state of consciousness that can be revised by awareness itself. The true revelation is that you are already seen and provided for by the one Self that knows no lack.

Practice This Now

Assume the state 'I am wealth in consciousness, seen by God.' Feel it as real for a full minute, then carry that assurance into today’s choices and interactions.
