Inner Dawn of the Kingdom

Luke 17:26-30 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 17 in context

Scripture Focus

26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Luke 17:26-30

Biblical Context

It depicts ordinary life—eating, drinking, business—continuing until a decisive inner shift reveals the Son of Man.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, Luke's scene is not a prophecy about distant days but a map of your present states. Noah's ark moment and Lot's exodus symbolize distinct conditions of awareness—the moment you awaken to the I AM, the inner ark of stillness wherein the old world dies and limitation passes. The 'they ate, they drank' patterns are not condemnations but indications you are identified with form; when you hold the declaration that The Kingdom is here, you shift to the living awareness that is already present. The Son of Man is your higher consciousness revealing Itself through imagination and feeling. The external events dissolve as you insist on the inner reality. The fire and brimstone are the purifying pressures that force a change of state; when you dwell in the kingdom as a present fact, the outer world rearranges to reflect your renewed state. Thus the coming of the Son of Man is the moment your I AM asserts Itself as ruler of your experience.

Practice This Now

Assume the state 'The Kingdom is here now.' Sit in stillness, feel the presence as real, and allow that sensation to anchor for 5 minutes, then revisit your day from that knowing.
