Read Luke 17 in context

Scripture Focus

22And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
Luke 17:22-23

Biblical Context

Jesus speaks of a future time when people will yearn to see the days of the Son of Man and miss them. He warns not to chase outward signs or teachers.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your house of awareness, the days of the Son of Man are not dates on the calendar but inner shifts of consciousness. When you yearn for some outer sign—a here, a there—it reveals you are not yet fully present as the I AM. The promised day emerges only when you stop chasing visions and begin to imagine from the end: you are already in the state called the Son of Man, the Christ, within. The external voices that point to places or persons are simply reminders to turn away from projection and to revise your inner state. By assuming the full feeling of the wish fulfilled now, by naming yourself as the consciousness that already has seen, you dissolve the longing and allow the inner day to be your experienced day.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and declare: The day of the Son of Man is now within me; I am that I AM. I stop seeking signs outside and revise my awareness into the felt truth of my inner kingdom.
