Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Luke 15:4-7 tells of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one lost sheep, and rejoices when found. It points to a turning of consciousness toward alignment with the divine.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture yourself as the I AM, the shepherd of your life. The hundred are your ready states, the lost sheep a belief that you are separate from God. When you find it and lift it, you enact the truth that you are always complete. The joy in heaven over repentance mirrors the inner joy that arises when a belief shifts and is felt as real. Repentance is not punishment but a revision of what you assume about yourself. By identifying with the I AM, you invite the unconscious to reorganize around a new identity until your outer life reflects wholeness. Carrying the sheep on your shoulders signifies accepting responsibility for your states and letting the renewed feeling establish the new state. Do not plead with an external deity; acknowledge that awareness has returned to its natural, unified condition.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, revise a troubling belief by placing the lost sheep on your shoulders and feeling it lift. Then declare, 'I am found,' and invite your inner circle to celebrate.
