Luke 15:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 15 in context

Scripture Focus

1Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
2And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
Luke 15:1-2

Biblical Context

Sinners and publicans draw near to hear Jesus. The Pharisees murmur that He receives them.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Luke 15:1–2, the scene is a revision of your inner state. The publicans and sinners are states of consciousness drawn to the I AM, to hear the living Word within. The murmuring Pharisees are the ghost of doubt that tries to exclude parts of you. But God is not a distant judge; He is the I AM that is always welcoming, the host of your entire being. When you realize that the One who receives sinners also receives you, you dissolve the fear of lack and guilt. Your imagination becomes the table where every desire is invited, and your life begins to reflect that inclusive feast. The act of communion is an inner acknowledgment: all parts of you belong to the same life, the same mercy. As you dwell in that consciousness, your world rearranges itself to match your shift, and grace becomes present in the ordinary moments.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the sense that any part of you is unworthy. See the crowd of inner states gathered at the I AM's table and feel the acceptance as already true.
