Jesus travels through cities teaching as he moves toward Jerusalem.
Neville's Inner Vision
I do not read this as a travel itinerary but as a map of consciousness. Luke records Jesus crossing from village to village, teaching, while his aim is Jerusalem - the symbolic center of awakening. Each city is a station of your mind, each village a sway of feeling, each teaching an inner suggestion you accept in imagination. As you dwell in your I AM, the awareness that you are, you enter a corridor of inner movements toward your Jerusalem - the state in which God's kingdom is now. The outward journey mirrors the inner, for imagination creates reality. When Jesus teaches, he is you standing in the role of the observer, revising scenes within, choosing what to entertain and what to dismiss. The knowing that you are the Lord of your inner land makes travel purposeful, a pilgrimage toward the state of realization. Trust the path within; the external map merely reflects this inner movement. Your task is to live from the end: assume you are already where you seek, and let the feeling of that end permeate every step.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume you are already in your inner Jerusalem; throughout today, revise a lack into the feeling of its fulfillment. Dwell in the awareness that you are the I AM shaping your path.
