Behold Your Created Power
Luke 10:18-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Luke 10 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus speaks of Satan's defeat and grants believers authority over the enemy; nothing can harm you when you stand in that power.
Neville's Inner Vision
That saying is not a call to external conquest but to inner dominion. Satan is the fear-laden thought that says you are separate from the I AM, and his fall is the moment you accept this consciousness as reality. The power to tread on serpents and scorpions signifies mastery over troubling thoughts, images, and conditions—your ability to meet any appearance with the conviction that it has no power over you because you are the I AM aware of itself. Over all the power of the enemy means supreme authority over inner vibrations; nothing shall by any means hurt you speaks of the invulnerability of the state you maintain when you believe. When you persist in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, you revise the scene from within and the outer world shifts to reflect your inner posture. The enemy dissolves as the imagination proves its sovereignty, and you walk in the reality you have assumed.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, recall a current fear or problem, and revise it by declaring, 'Satan fell and I now walk in the power of the I AM.' Feel the end result as real, embodying confidence and safety until it remains after you open your eyes.
