Biblical Context
The angel Gabriel visits Mary in Nazareth and tells her she has found favor with God. He says the Lord is with her, and she is blessed among women.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the angel not as a person stepping into time, but as a whisper of your own I AM awakening to a new idea. The sixth month marks a season in consciousness when a revelation ripens, waiting your acknowledgment. The 'virgin' is the untouched state of awareness, ready to conceive a holy idea without resistance. 'Hail, thou that art highly favoured' is your recognition that you are already favored by grace when you inhabit the inner state that God completes. 'The Lord is with thee' means your awareness does not walk alone; the I AM is the companion of every thought, every imaginal act. 'Blessed art thou among women' shows that when you conceive an idea within, you bless your world by giving birth to it. The visit of Gabriel is the inner voice announcing your capacity to create from within, not rely on outward signs. To live this is to claim you are the author, the mother, and the place where divine words take form. Try this now: dwell in the feeling of being fully attended by the presence of God, and permit a new idea to unfold in your mind as if already alive.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, place your hand on your heart, and declare, I am the highly favored one; the Lord is with me. Then, in your mind, give birth to a simple idea and feel it as already real.
