Read Luke 1 in context

Scripture Focus

23And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
24And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
25Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
Luke 1:23-25

Biblical Context

After the service ends, Elisabeth conceives and hides herself for five months, saying the Lord has looked on her to take away her reproach among men.

Neville's Inner Vision

Luke 1:23-25 reveals a reversal that begins in the silent chamber of consciousness. Elisabeth's pregnancy is not a public event but a private, inner decree of grace in the I AM you are. The days of his ministration represent the old mind’s outward service; the outward life merely follows from an inner state. When she hid herself five months, she kept the newborn realization within, letting it mature in the liminal weeks of inner faith until it is ready to manifest. The Lord looking on me to remove reproach is the inner declaration that the sense of lack has been visited by favor. Your reproach dissolves as you assume you are already seen with grace by the one Presence that governs all. The reversal is spiritual first; form follows consciousness. So attend to the inner state now: imagine you are already blessed, feel it real, and allow the outer life to align with that truth as Kingdom of God breaks into your experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise your sense of reproach by affirming, 'I am seen with favor by God.' Feel that state as real for a minute, then carry this being into your daily life.
