Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses instructs Aaron to go to the altar, offer the sin offering and burnt offering for himself and for the people, and make atonement as commanded by the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this verse, the altar is not a stone structure but the focal point of your awareness. Aaron’s acts mirror your own need to purify thought and feeling until they harmonize with the I AM. The sin offering points to releasing mistaken identities—guilt, separation, and smallness you’ve carried as the self you think you are. The burnt offering symbolizes total surrender to the divine order you now recognize as your true nature. The atonement for self and people is not punishment but re-creation: you revise the inner state that birthed outward conditions, aligning private conviction with universal principle. When you comply with 'as the LORD commanded,' you are consenting to an inner law—that consciousness governs circumstance when it wills itself to be in accord with love, mercy, and righteousness. The outward ritual becomes a map for inner practice: you enter your inner sanctuary, consciously release what wounds you, and vow fidelity to the highest functional I AM. The 'people' are the collective beliefs and relationships within your consciousness; their atonement is your own balance restored. Trust that this is already true in the present, and your experiences will reflect the harmony you have assumed.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and imagine the inner altar before you. Declare, 'I release guilt and align with the I AM; I am now at one with divine order.'
